I'm Jason, a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Hampshire, capturing damn fine wedding photos across the South of England — from forest hideaways in Dorset and rustic barns in Sussex to offbeat venues in Southsea. My relaxed, unposed approach is perfect for couples who want natural, emotive storytelling without any cheesy stuff.

Hey!

I took a pretty winding road to get here.

If you’d have told me at 20 that I’d be a full time photographer in my 40s I’d have laughed at you. But, here we are. What do I know?

Well, I know that this job is pretty f**king awesome. Yes, it’s hard work, and yes I invest way too much of my thought into how I can get better, but I am still not bored of it even after 10 years full time. In fact, I love this shit.

And I want to keep doing it. And the fact that around 30-40 lovely couples entrust me to do this each year is pretty damn cool.

More than just pretty pictures.

We all love a good portrait. And we REALLY love those that you'll put on your wall. But your wedding collection is more than that - it's the one time that you'll have all your special folk in one place. Wouldn't it be handy to get a pic or two? And not some stuffy, awkward posed thing, but a chance to capture the REAL them. Yes your wedding is about the two of you, but also it's about those you adore, and it is my mission to grab those photos that you'll love to look at in 20 years time (and laugh at). As time goes by these photos become more than photos, they're legacy.
