It’s always interesting to me how looking back over wedding images I seem to forget so many that I’ve taken. I think last year (2022) was just so busy that I was in a mindset of “that ones done, onto the next” without really stopping to look for a second. That is just the case with what I was lucky enough to capture at Jess and Michael’s incredible wedding celebration at Kingsettle Stud in Hampshire. I will never tire of photographing weddings at Kingsettle Stud - it has got so much to love. On top of the awesmness of Kingsettle, Jess and Michael had their ceremony at the unbelievably grand St Cross Church in Winchester.

I get to see the best in people at weddings, and being allowed into these little circles and capture all of that love and emotion is pretty damn cool. I am very lucky indeed. After some drinks and nibbles in the garden, we headed up to the courtyard for an epic meal, some lovely words, and all of the dancing. The dancefloor was incredible, and honestly I could have created a blog with 50 images from the dancefloor.

What. A. Day.

Here’s Jess and Michael’s wedding at Kingsettle Stud as I saw it.

I met Jess at her parents house where Jess mum was hard at work in the garage creating the most incredible bouquet’s you’ve ever seen. All the family mucked in, but mum was definitely calling the shots. People’s creativity never fails to amaze me. I captured the goings on, the last minute scoffing of food before heading off for the church and the ceremony, followed by ALL of the confetti. The grounds at St Cross were perefctc for some family pics, and a few portraits of the newly married Jess and Michael, before we hot footed it over to Kingsettle Stud for the celebrations. All of the guests had arranged a sing-along for when Jess and Michael arrived. A touching tribute to Michael’s late brother and one of their fave songs, Time Of Your Life by Green Day.
