Secret Garden Brighton Wedding Photography

A wedding celebration at the secret garden in Brighton on a sunny day

Here’s a few frames from a wedding I was lucky enough to shoot at the Secret Garden in Brighton for Julia and Stephen. I get to shoot all kinds of weddings, from grand manor houses, to farms. This one had a bot of everything - from the rustic nature of the secret garden, to the marquee and party at a private residence in East Mascalls. It’s fair to say that I was a little bit in love with their plans, and when they mentioned they were planning a game of tennis as well, I was intrigued. I mean, I shoot LOADS of beer pong games at weddings, but actual tennis? Well, carry on for a closer look.

I met Julia at their house in Hove for the getting ready bit, and as the morning wore on more and more of Julia’s pals arrived. Many were German which immediately makes things more fun. They’re just the nicest people, and always joking around, contrary to stereotypes! They made me feel so welcome too.

We then hot footed it to the Secret Garden in Kemptown, Brighton for the ceremony. Julia was led down the aisle by her bridesmaids and bridemate, which I think should be more of a thing for sure - why should the brides pals always be girls? And vice versa? Anyway, the ceremony was gorgeous, under the blazing Brighton sun, and then we hot footed it to East Mascalls for food, drink, tennis, danicng, dodging the rain whcvih inevitable came our way, and just generally had a beaut of a day.

Julia and Stephen created something amazing for their big, and I was very lucky to be able to share it with them. And now I’m sharing it with you. Here’s their wedding at The Secret Garden in Brighton as I saw it.
