FIONA AND RHYS
If you can find a happier couple, I'd love to meet them because Fiona and Rhys are just too damn lush. I have photographed a wedding before at Elmers Court in Lymington and funnily enough the groom on that was also a naval man. Maybe it's something in the New Forest air.
I met Fiona and Rhys what seems like ages before their big day for a chat and we hit it off straight away, and then on their pre-wedding shoot in Southsea I got to know them even more (check it out here). I got the feeling Fiona loved every minute, Rhys less so. But that's what I love about this "job", finding out about people and hopefully producing images for them that they didn't think they had in them. Fiona and Rhys nailed it.
Fiona wore an astounding Tara Keely bridal gown while Rhys wore his Navy uniform (as did half of the guests by the looks of it). Shenanigans ensued, The Daggers one of the best bands EVER played into the night (seriously, check them out), a young lad was forced to joyride the ice-cream bike, a chap turned up in shorts and sport socks, I was forced to drink rum - not nice rum you understand, but real rum, and all in all the day was a blast.
