Bury Manor Barn Wedding Photography

Jo and John chose Bury Manor Barn in West Sussex for their quite frankly gorgeous wedding day. Set in the heart of the South Downs national park, the views are a sight to be seen and likewise was Jo and John’s love for each other (mushy stuff alert). Jo got ready at the impossibly grand Amberley Castle, which is just about the most beautiful place I have ever photographed bridal prep. Although I couldn’t stay long as I had to make the drive to Bury Manor to capture the guests arriving, the hugs being thrown around like confetti, and John and the boys looking effortlessly cool.
The ceremony space is just perfect, and seeing Jo and John say their “I do’s” surrounded by the decor which Jo had brought along herself was lush on toast. We then threw actual confetti at them before I stole them away for some pics while the guests tucked into cocktails on the terrace. I simply HAD to make use of the views and the grounds. I almost felt like we could have been in the Scottish Highlands (minus the “highs) as the light and the textures around felt very Highlandsy (not sure if that’s a word).
Anyway, with all the stuff done, it was party time, food time, and just the best bunch of people to be around. I had a blast. Here is Jo and John’s Bury Manor Wedding as I saw it.
